Iron Overload Association - Hemochromatosis is easy to prevent, easy to detect and east to treat. Treatment, if caught in time, will return the patient to a normal life span. For these reasons we say that death from hemochromatosis is a wrongful death.
Hereditary Hemochromatosis - is a genetic condition of iron overload affecting approximately 1 out of 200-300 people, with 1 in 8-10 people being carriers. It is 100% fatal if not diagnosed early & treated
