An article by the Asia Pacific Journal of Clinical Nutrition called Kiwifruit improves bowel function in patients with irritable bowel syndrome with constipation” reported a study that found that two kiwifruit a day for four weeks decreased colon transit, increased defecation frequency, and improved bowel function.

Constipation Smoothie:

½ cup Keifer (Original or Vanilla)

1 peeled Kiwi

½ cup of papaya

1/3 cup of aloe Vera juice

Ice
